Blossom Preschool Education is a private Nursery and Kindergarten located in Rea Drosias, Attica, Dionysou Ave 78. The school building and all premises were specifically designed and built in 2008 to accommodate pre-school-age children.

Our teaching philosophy follows the basic principles of the Montessori method of teaching, aiming to encourage children’s self-confidence, independence and solidarity. We use a project-based teaching method, thus organizing and completing a variety of individual projects that all orbit around a general theme, which we choose at the beginning of each school year.

Our teaching staff includes highly educated, experienced and enthusiastic teachers, both Greek as well as English- speaking; we follow a bilingual teaching programme aiming to familiarize children with both Greek and English language, as part of their everyday school life. The school cooperates with a children psychologist, a speech therapist and a pediatrician, who perform scheduled evaluations and are available for independent counseling.

We offer two different educational programs: a) from 08:30 to 13:00 and b) from 08:30 to 15:00, Monday to Friday each week. Separate weekly sessions of music, drama play and creative dance are included, each taught by specialized teachers. We also organize various educational and recreational visits and excursions.

Children attending the 08:30 to 13:00 educational program are offered a mid-day snack;children attending the 08:30 to 15:00 educational program are also offered lunch. All meals are prepared each day in our school’s kitchen by our school’s cook. We follow a simple and nutritious weekly meals’ schedule, selecting various seasonal dishes that are based on the Mediterranean diet.

We offer transportation services with our owned school bus, from and to our student’s residence.

We operate from the beginning of September until the first week of July next year. A “summer camp” recreational course is usually offered until the third week of July. The school remains closed for two weeks during Christmas and another two weeks during Orthodox Easter.
